I & We

Few days back, I remembered I was watching an interview and after that I felt more expressed as the concept which was beautifully delineated there. I am not going to mention all the details because I don’t want to jeopardize anyone’s privacy. But some of the parts have touched me from inside. We always have been told to think about everyone as “We” since our childhood. By considering everything in the life sometimes we came out as a different person who we don’t suppose to be, and the reason is none other than us, means we. We often lose ourselves in trying to conjoin the world with each other, the feeling of being ourselves, the feeling of “I”. Individualism is a vital feature of our lives to be lived happily. To become a genuine person and create the world being taking everything as we, we have first to learn about ourselves, the “I.” Once we became influential individuals only then, we can build a structure where we can keep everyone, and frame a network of “we”. Then only it would last forever because the basis of that “we” network is the connection between our individual characteristics to ourselves. As far I understood that bond is unbreakable, because that “I & We” are the elements of life’s chain reaction and incomplete without another.

In short, what I want to pen down today is the concept of individualism, but not at the cost of “we”. I felt that we need to believe in “I” first, and once we are true to ourselves then only we can treat everyone as “We.” Let me allow today so I can be completely self-explained to myself as well for others too. We all can enjoy our freedom being true individuals as “I” and considering everyone as “We” but not by ignoring rather than loving ourselves more.

“I & We,”  we have this theory since long,

And if we presume just ourselves, that is considered to be socially wrong,

We broke down sometimes, we lost ourselves,

But we don’t get enough courage to cover up “I” over “We”,

We are not able to realize the real manifestation of “I,”

We see the things, which we are bound to see,

Same as love, to spread love first we need to love ourselves,

To build the surroundings of “we”, we have first to build ourselves as “I”,

Otherwise, we will just create an imaginary world, nothing more than the lies,

Still we are not sensing that both are each other’s part,

We are suppressing the overall growth by keeping them apart,

During the odd hours of night, I am holding “I & We” together,

Telling you the story as an individual, and sharing with the world as “We,”

And I know this is the only way to keep everyone alive,

Maybe or maybe not my friend, it’s not same as your thought,

But you will feel the excitement if you keep them on the same drive.
