Late afternoon today, I was filling some forms related to the administrative work. At the end, I signed and filled the date. I saw the date again and I realized almost six days of this New Year has been passed. Time is running, there is a lot to do but I felt helpless. I can’t hold the time, today is 06/01/2016 and tomorrow will be 07/01/2016, it will continue like this. 

Oh no, today is 6^th, tomorrow will be 7^th and so on,

Life does not have same pace as you,

Then how should I manage, what is left and gone?

Don’t run, give me some time,

I turned the calendar page yesterday,

And I don’t want to turn it again very soon,

Until I see the star laden sky with a full moon,

I arranged the welcoming party for you yesterday,

And you turned it into a story from the past,

Whatever I do, it doesn’t stay long in the present,

I realized it’s not my mistake, I think you are running so fast,

Take a break, go down little bit slower,

Take small steps so I can have enough time,

I can make a plan and then I can join you somewhere,

Though we have different paths for our lives but to a certain extent we can share,

Finally, I request you to wait for me,

Just give me one more chance to hold you for today,

I know it won’t last for a long time, even though I want to try,

Just few minutes with you, later I will try to reach as in your way.
